This was a sequel to “It’s a Cook Up” touring site-specific food events and restaurants in May 2003, a New Theatre Works production. “Another Cook up” was directed and devised with a professional team by Janine Sharp. Three women in one kitchen all experts in their own field, a bad idea! A Bawdy three hander, somewhere between Benny Hill and Beckett; i.e. “Where the hell is this kitchen and what are they doing there?!”

 

Children chuckle to see clowning performed by three women the age of their grandmothers, “very Commedia dell Arte” said the theatre goers, “Bloody good laugh” said the farming community, This 40 minute production toured food festivals throughout the summer 2007 and took further bookings in 2008.
